November 5...
Hey guys! We are overwhelmed by your generosity this week! WE CAN ended last Sunday and the 9th grade boys and 9th grade girls tied for first place so they will be feasting on pancakes, eggs, and bacon this Sunday during KORT, courtesy of the SALT team…but more importantly ALL OF YOU GUYS got your can on! We ended up with a grand total of 527 ITEMS for the food pantry...PRAISE GOD! We are so thankful for the way you guys are willing to take care of your community. Then we sent out an email last week asking you guys to help us put on a party to raise money for Compassion International and the response was wonderful! The great families of Providence Road provided for ALL of our needs so that we can give all the proceeds from the party to help starving kiddies. THANK YOU for being so generous…we appreciate you! We are so excited about THIS WEDNESDAY…make sure you come check it out! Last night at KPD we finished our series called PLAYLIST and we gave away the IPOD…the lucky winner was ADAM FRESHCORN, but the great thing was the amount of names that were in that box. Tons of people were entered into the drawing because they brought friends with them to KPD…don’t stop now, we love it!
TEN SQUARED TIMES TWO: Koinonia Part Deux with a temporary purpose THIS WEDNESDAY! The SALT team is throwing a party to raise money for Compassion International. It all started with two ten dollar bills and we think you can help us square our ten and multiply it by two to make $200! You can help feed starving children by bringing five dollars and joining our fun from 6-8 PM at Camp Eagle Rock. We will have FREE food and a band but that’s not all…your five bucks will buy you entry to a dodge ball tournament, apple bobbing, pie eating contest, musical chairs, and a crazy photo booth. Bring your friends and eat, laugh, and love…and give back to a good cause!
