These personnel live and work with the people of monolingual societies to create a translation of the Bible that is accurate according to the Greek and Hebrew scriptures, and that also speaks the language of the people in a natural way so that they can understand it.
PR's Jim and Barbe Albright are assigned to JAARS, which gives technical assistance to Bible translators. Jim works in I.T., helping to develop tools for translators.
Wycliffe's mission is to make God's Word available to all people in a language that speaks to their heart. This process requires training, technical expertise, and people to prayerfully and financially support the translators and those helping.
