Our Goals for Achieving This Vision
Glorify God
- To provide children opportunities to be excited and joyful about worshipping God.
- For each child to know that God loves him/her and that a personal relationship with Him gives meaning to life.
- To provide worship and teaching opportunities for children where parents are unable or unwilling to do so.
In Charlotte & Beyond
- To provide Godly men and women who are adequately trained to serve as positive, Christian role models while they minister to children.
- To help children grow to be the light of Christ for their “non-Christian” friends.
- To provide children the opportunity and direction to participate in ministry and service to others.
Bringing Children to Jesus
- To support parents in their responsibility for the spiritual nurture and growth of their children.
- To partner with parents to guide each child in accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord of their life and participate in obedience to God through baptism.
- To provide a strong Biblical foundation for children to learn enduring Biblical truths.
Maturing Them
- To help each child develop a lifestyle that is built on his/her relationship with Jesus Christ.
- To help each child understand that God’s Word, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, is relevant and growth in Bible knowledge results in positive changes in attitude, action and lifestyle.
- To train children to be the next generation of leaders within the church.
- To provide a safe, secure, loving environment where children can participate and where parents can feel comfortable leaving their child.
- To be a great place for social interaction in a strong, moral, Christian environment.
- To help children grow in their relationships/connectedness with other believers of all generations within this church body.
